Can anyone comment on the Omni 550's? Or recommend a center to match them besides the C150, as I'm not too keen on the looks of it, or the fact that I can only find it in black.

I don't have direct experience with Mirage speakers. However, three identical front speakers are always the best option. That is true for all speakers from all manufacturers.

So I've read, now I just have to decide if I can fit a 40" tower under my display.

Today i know.

I just noticed you have the M5 beasts. i considered those way back in 1997, but it was bad enough that I payed 1500 for my M7s! I still own and love the m7s dearly, and with the MC-si center, its a trio that i will never part with. titanium dome tweeters baby! my friend told me the other day that the towers looked "dated". i almost killed him. i said "go back to your sanyo freakin home theater in a box bullshit setup and shut your mouth" you know nothing! damn home theater muggle, he is.

Mirage was the first to make titanium hybrid dome tweeters. and was the company to make the first Bipiolor speaker. Does Mirage rock or what

I was in a search for your center then i found mine.It timber matches my m-5si's and looks sexy as hell.
I was going to get mirage rears and b-surrounds,but i got a great deal on my back setup that i could not refuse.

I;ve always loved (and still do to this day)Mirage and Paradigm speakers. Now i get to have both of them in my setup.
Iam i happy-you bet your ass

Here's some milestones with Mirage read 1987 and 1991

nice read. my wife was callous enough to suggest we didn't need the MC-si center channel in our new house, since i have been running my new receiver using 4 speakers only, and she thinks it sounds fine. FINE? FINE???? the dialog is weak, dispersed, and anemic.

when we move I will mount my tv, and place the center on the console we bought. she is quite a muggle when it comes to my equipment and sound, but she isn't against the center being there i guess.

Its Safe,
hooked from back of the wall and what the Plasma is sitting on, it's sturdy
It was the only way i could get that Beast on a stand.
It is really a big center. But well worth the trouble

Hello I'm new around here. I was so close in buying the polk 60's until I read about the omni 550c from Vanns I hope these will be good. I like the Idea of the tweeters and the cabinet design better for the same price. I'm starting to upgrade my system.
The 2 Mirages should be here Friday

I thought I was done with my sound sytem and then I win $500.00 at my job picnic. So I wanted to get myself something nice so I bought The 3 Channel Amp from Emotiva - XPA3 for my Mirage setup. WOW this amp rocks. Using it with my front V2 floor standing speakers and OMCD Center. I did not think my sound field could get any better with my 140 watt per channel Onkyo 875 but I was wrong. The Emotiva brings my sound field to another level. Updated pictures once again in gallery.

Well they arrived. They are in a temporary place, they are being broken in as pictued. Is there any comparison with my old JBL GHE 1000V's ?? I am surprised they are not damaged !!
