I always forget about it, but im actually suprised disney hasn't announced The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Makes me nervous on whether or not we'll get it this year with how many titles are announced.I think i read other countrys getting DVD-Only releases of it though :-/

I honestly would expect it next year, and know disney they'll still market it as a 10th anniversary.

Has it been 10 years already? That movie still seems new to me, haha. They'd better release it soon. Not sure how much longer I want the VHS sitting around my house. :P

Do titles in the vault usually go down in value after awhile? I noticed Sleeping Beauty is much cheaper than Snow White and Pinocchio from third party sellers.

No. It's random, depending on how heartless the seller is

If you aren't high on Beauty and the Beast then that is a very good idea. I like it and my wife loved it and neither of us cared one bit for Enchanted Christmas and for me even collecting some of the Disney titles on blu didn't even tempt me to keep it as a set.

Not in any way or form, most of the time the longer you wait the more expensive it is, but it really depends on how many people have it still if there aren't a lot of sellers prices seem to go up.

But the 10th Anniversary is this this June - it was released in 2002!

these kind of marketing decisions and the subsequent response from fans always remind me of this review.

The Pinocchio 70th Anniversary 2-Disc Platinum Edition Blu-ray actually comes 69 years after the film's original theatrical release and includes 3 discs. Go figure.
the exact same thing happened with Dumbo in the UK. it was released on its 69th Anniversary

Then that means it should've come out last year?!

I think what they are saying is that Disney releases them around a particular milestone and celebrate the anniversary that year, not specifically that they do it one year prior, just in the general area (such as one year later, like their prediction for a lilo and stitch release)

Naw, I know! I was just joking around.

I think with there being about 7 or so favorite Disney animated movies this year -- I don't think we'll be seeing Lilo & Stitch til next year. But it'd be a nice surpreeze if they do release it sometime this year. It was already a big surprize to see the Aristocats and Pocahontas being released this year! Then finding out about Aladdin for next year! I'm quite satisfied for now.

After this year, I'll just need to wait for 5 more of my favorites:

Peter Pan
101 Dalmatians
The Jungle Book
The Little Mermaid
Lilo & Stitch

I do still need to rewatch a few others -- so there may be more to that list. XD
