Default No Sound on Vizio XVT553SV

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but the sound completely went out on my tv today. My audio is through the tv speakers only. I don't have a sound bar or any external speakers. The audio was skipping at first, but then completely dropped out. I've been troubleshooting and the problem is nothing obvious, i.e. it's not muted, the volume is up, etc.

I'm using a PS3 for streaming and discs. Here is everything I've tried, all of which have failed:

1. Tried a different HDMI cable
2. Tried all other HDMI ports
3. Unplugged the set for several hours
4. Reset the audio to factory settings
5. Connected a pair of PC speakers using the headphone jack and USB.
6. Connected the Roku

So, my question: If I take this apart, is their some board I can replace to possible repair this problem?
