I swear, I go through all five stages of grief when I come in this thread. I'm hoping this doesn't mean Bumblebee gets the shaft (in 3D!), but I'm not optimistic.

I only need to borrow a 3D disc long enough to watch it.

No, just normal 2d. Only renting because of the lack of 3D. Noticed the email in my inbox and was just my play on the normal 'my copy shipped' line

I've been a netflix disc renter for years. ONCE, they did send me a 3D disc. I forget now what movie it was.

Well if they send me that by accident, then this will be the first time I ever 'lose' a disc and pay the fees

I assume you are talking about "Simulated 3D" mode. If that is the case, have you actually tried it? I did an experiment and the "Simulated 3D" mode wasn't available on my settings menu when playing UHD content... Both UHD Streaming and UHD Discs. I knew that 3D wasn't part of the UHD specs but I also thought I might be able to try "Simulated 3D". At least with my setup, it isn't possible.

So let them make fun and if/when your copy arrives you'll be the one laughing even as they continue to believe you do not have it and are lying about it.

No, I don't have a copy.
If true this is even more devastating. I hope Law212 gets a copy!

I just bought a used 4K steelbook off of eBay for MI6:Fallout. I have all the other movies so have to continue the franchise. I'm glad I did get to see it in 3D while it was in theaters.
Still disappointed there's no 3D blu ray though. I did the same thing with Trolls and ended up getting a used 4K copy at FYE for a dollar with their buy 2 get one for $1. Won't buy them new when they axe the 3D globally.

Default Emailing Paramount

Found a thread for this over at avsforum. They have an email for emailing Paramount and letting them know we want a blu-ray 3d.
Not harm in trying.

phe_customerservice@paramount.com

Also here is a link for the Cinema Blend review of Fallout 3D.
I’m actually disgusted. The movie got a 35/35 score. I had no idea that this much care went into the making of the 3D version.
According to them “The world of 3D films hasn't seen as impressive a product as Mission: Impossible - Fallout in quite a while”, which makes it more depressing a 3D version was not released for home viewing.

Let us show our dissatisfaction with this decision by mass emailing Paramount and if some one wants to create a petition even better.

I just emailed them. Here is what I said.

I’m writing to you to express my most sincere disappointment with the fact you have not released a 3D blu-ray of MI: Fallout and seem to have no plans of doing it in the near future. Paramount has a stellar track record of delivering movies for home consumption in the best possible form, going as far as including Atmos tracks in both 2D and 3D releases equally without discriminating the 3D format, a practice currently employed by other studios.
The conversion was described as “The world of 3D films hasn't seen as impressive a product as Mission: Impossible - Fallout in quite a while.” Please find below the link for the entire article.

It is very rare these days ( almost Impossible you might say) for a 3D movie to receive a perfect score, but this movie made that happen. And not only is it the first in the franchise to be released in 3D but it is also the highest grossing one, and when the 3D is described as a perfect experience I find it very puzzling you have decided to deny the home viewing market of a 3D release.
I ask you reconsider this and forward this email to whomever was in charge of this undeniably wrong decision.
I want a blu-ray 3D release of Mission Impossible - Fallout in my collection asap. And I know I’m not alone. There is allot of interest out there for a 3D disc.
Best regards

They could release a bunch of 3D Blus for us the 3D beta testers.
We'll give them free feedback, no problemo.
We'll even contact Tom directly to let him know.

Did my bit and emailed Paramount too. It's a long shot but maybe if enough people do it, they might change their mind.

Sent an email as well. Might not help but I feel better that I at least lobbed my insignificant request.

I am starting to sound like a broken record here on this forum.

The only thing sending e-mail does is makes you feel better. They go straight to the bit-bucket.

So glad that there is interest in my fellow forum members in the 3D version! But ...

Send a regular letter via mail(post) to the person(s) in charge at Paramount.

PM me for more info.
