I was looking for a TV for my garage when I found this one. 720p doesn't bother me on a little TV, but I'm curious about the HDR. Is it a gimmick or will it be noticeable? Is HDR only available with 4K content?

Consumer Reports recommends the TV, but the HDR is disappointing due to a lack of adequate brightness.

Back in April, I bought a TCL 32" Class HD LED Android Smart TV 3-Series (32S21) from Walmart for $70. Just got around to opening the box today. It's a 720p TV with the Android/Google TV interface.
When I sampled a few shows on Disney+, I was shocked that the screen displayed that HDR was activated during those shows. HDR isn't an advertised feature on this TV. I was even able to pair my Google Pixel Buds to it. It's a very cool little TV. |
