Hi. I'm looking to find a multi-region 4K UHD blu-ray player in the UK which I can use to watch films and TV shows in their original aspect ratio. For example, I have the Matrix trilogy on 4K UHD blu-ray in 2.40:1 aspect ratio, but they played on the 4K UHD player in 1.78:1. Also, films/TV shows on 4K UHD or standard blu-ray which I have that are in 1.78:1 play in full screen on the player, which is a Panasonic DP-UB159. Any assistance would be truly appreciated. Thank you.

Then you have the wrong settings on your player . Multiregion has nothing to do with aspect ratio.Pretty much impossible to get it wrong in 2023 so i have no idea whta you did. But just check your player and tv setting that has to do with AR
