Default Camcorders to hook up with PS3?

Hello everyone. I am looking to get a Sony Camcorder to hopefully pair up with my PS3. Couple of things. I want a HD Camcorder. I also want it to hook up with my PS3 so I can transfer the Video's to my Video section of my PS3. I want to know if this can be done with a simple USB cord or if you need a Memory Stick Duo to do this. I'm looking at the Sony Style store right now for ideas.

Thanks!

EDIT: This is the one I am currently looking at... http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...52921665089060

I don't have any input on this, but I'm certainly interested to know how it all turns out.

Yes, I have a Sony HDR-SR1 and you use the USB cable to download and/or store the videos to the PS3. It is amazing!

I have the same one and can comfirm that this does work. You can also stream the video off of the camcorder while connected.

go for th memory stick cam corder, click out (of the cam) and click in the memory stick (to the ps3) ....

8gb memory stick holds 1 hour of video = 1 60min tape.
and the camera is way smaller than the HDD model ;-)
