Got a couple books today:

They haven't gotten any new books in any of the Dollar Tree store here, so we're left with those books which seemed truly destined to be "Dollar Tree book"s from their very inception:

This week I'm Gonna check out 3 or 5 stores out of my area to see what I'll find. Hopefully I can grab some goodies (movies too!).

Was surprised to find these books:

The AJ Lee book was most shocking. I almost passed up on going to the store where I found it. There's 3 stores down one street and I was gonna go to 2 of them, but I decided against it since I went to a comic book store kind of out of the way. I forgot how close it was to the detour I took home, so I went after all. There were 2 copies, and I was gonna grab the other to try and flip it on OfferUp. I left it there, so hopefully a wrestling fan finds it.

I finally found a large refresh of titles at one DT, and I couldn't believe they had one I've been looking for after someone reported finding it:

Planet of the Apes: Tales From the Forbidden Zone!

That's going to be a nice reading!

Shining in the Dark: Celebrating 20 Years of Lilja's Library (short stories by Stephen King, Clive Barker, etc.)

Was gonna buy the Yoko book to try to flip it, but it's only 5 bucks used on Amazon. Left it easily visible, so hopefully a Beatles fan picks it up.

The Massacre of Mankind: Sequel to The War of the Worlds by Stephen Baxter (and supposedly authorized by the H.G. Wells Estate).

Stopped in at DT and they had a big restock in books. Although, not a lot of what I was interested in.

Did pick up the following though

Didn't know Obliteration was written by Murr of Impractical Jokers fame until I got home. Sounds like a fun read

I picked up three Flying Frog fun facts kids book. The book selection at the DT I go to the most has been trash for years. You're lucky if you even find a treasure. I no longer have the time to visit the other Dollar Trees around me.

I found 2 graphic novels at a store. I've been coming across quite a few over the last year. Was surprised to find 2 in 1 store.

I've noticed stores in my area seem to be getting a new wave of books in the past week or so. My lone pickup was:

Ball Lightning by Cixin Liu (translated by Joel Martinsen) -- it's a SciFi book by a Chinese author that sounded interesting. There were multiple copies of most of the newer stuff I've noticed, except this one, so it may not be that common of a find.
