Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, and other New Line movies... - Blu-ray Forum

Hello, this is my first time posting to this board, but have been an avid reader here, so excuse my newbie-ness please!

Ok so, whether you like it or not, the Tenacious D movie is coming to DVD very soon,(Feb. 27th to be exact) and i've seen no mention of it coming to Blu-Ray, or HD! What gives? If anyone can shine some light on the subject, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

New Line hasn't committed to a format as of yet, but when they do decide to release HD, it will most likely be in line with their parent company (Time Warner) who is format neutral.

Since Warner has already announced that some New Line titles will be coming out on TrueHD (Lord of the Rings movies) I think its safe to say we look to Warner for news of New Line titles.

I'm going to rez this post. I absolutely love this movie, probably Jack Black at his finest. I'd like another Tenacious D movie. With that said, any news of a blu-ray release? I'd like this one to be packed with extras (goes without saying).
