The 65 inch LG OLED E6P is probably the best 3D 4K TV ever made spec wise but given the age of the TV at this point and the possibility of burn in on OLED (as they are more similar to plasma) you’d be paying a hefty price for a used TV which might be more prone to issues later. Granted, it might still be worth finding one if it has low hours/use.

The ZD9 won’t do Dolby Visionbut is probably otherwise the best all around option for a 3D/4K combo based on specs and dimensions.

Hope this helps.
After a firmware update it does!

I can attest to this if you can find one. I got one of the last ones Robert had. Yes, very pricey but I love it.

I just bought a Sony XBR-75X940D off ebay for 790. 4K HDR and 3D. Last fall I got a 65 inch Samsung 3d tv for 450 off craigslist. If you look they are available.

Any opinion as to what was one of the last really great passive 3D/4K sets?

Truly great passive sets as well as pretty much last sets -- the LG 2016 C/E/G6"s.

The 8500/9500/9600 were also pretty good
Also add the Sony x900
