If in UK why not use a company based in the UK, eg multiregionmagic.co.uk, and buy a chipped UK model to play all Region blu rays? For example, Sony BDP-S6700 3D Blu-ray Disc Player Multiregion Blu-ray+DVD at 199. It also has the plus point of being UK voltage. If you import from US to UK/Europe the problem is that US electrics run on 120 volts and the UK/EU are 240/220v. You'd also need a voltage convertor which doesn't come cheap. I also found that US exporters, even on ebay, don't export to UK o/a voltage issue. Hope this helps.

Actually with the BDP S6700 you can just buy and new power adaptor for it and it works fine on 240
