Default Best Disney Zavvi steelbooks

I just ordered my first one off Ebay (Beauty and the Beast). I think I will get Lion King as well (original, not lenticular for these both).

It’s hard to tell from the stock pics. Many have said those stock pics don't do the actual steels justice.

Which other ones are considered to be really nice-looking and good collector steels?

Thanks!

You'll get as many answers as there are Disney steels, you know. My favorites are the Zavvi Sleeping Beauty and Emperor's New Groove. In defense of the lenti wave, I'd say The Lion King is actually quite nice, though many people disagree with me.

I also like the Zavvi and the Whalen (Mondo) Incredibles steelbooks, if you're also thinking about Pixar.

I should have been more specific to include Pixar. Are you referring to the white Mondo Incredibles steel? Thinking about that or then K. (spelling ? haha) one.

Aladdin is one of the best. Absolutely incredible glossy paint job, and great embossing.

Yes I have my eye on it. On Ebay for $85 used and $100 new though! I’ll have to wait lol. Lion King is about half that.

Treasure Planet would easily be the greatest Disney steel imo, if the rear artwork wasn't just a close up of the planet in the background of the front.

The Hercules steel however, rear artwork on that one is what makes it great

I have snow white and finding Nemo 3d, both lenticular. Turtle on the front kills it for me with Nemo.

Thanks for all these suggestions! Little Mermaid I assume would be nice, but I quickly scanned that thread and many were disappointed.

Ashamed to say don’t recall the movie Treasure Planet!

Looking forward to more suggestions. Thanks

Oh, for Pixar it's also worth mentioning the most recent Zavvi steel for Cars. It's definitely one of the best steels in my collection. Vibrant colors, great embossing, shiny metallics. I assume the Cars 2 steel is also good, but I don't have that one.

Hands-down, this is my favorite Disney steelbook if not my most beloved of my entire steelbook collection. The full gloss, embossing, and debossing are some of the best I've ever seen. The way the light hits her eyes is stunning. Mesmerizing, in fact.

It may not be a steelbook (it's considered an Ironpack) but the Canadian steel for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is fantastic, too. So many glittering gold accents really make this one stand out. To date, it's still the most I've spent on any one "metal packaged" movie item in my collection.
