Default Projector advice

Iím needing assistance deciding on a projector. I currently have a BenQ MW526A and Iím wanting to upgrade to at least a Full 1080p model. Iíve been looking at the BenQ HT2050, MH530FHD, and a couple of Optoma models. Would these be a decent upgrade over what I have, and which model would be a good replacement? The projector would be used in my living room whic has a moderate amount of ambient light, especially during the daytime. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Budget would be under $1,000.

That's a tough call. I personally have the 2050a - it's bright, but best suited for a light controlled room, has extremely small lag time (excellent for video games), and is extremely color accurate. Plus 3D is gorgeous on it. We love it. That said I'm currently eyeing the HT3550 4K for a fall replacement to take me to 4K.

Now the 2050 is a much shorter throw - so you would probably have to move your mount. The MH530FHD would be closer to your original MW526a specs.

Decisions, decisions.
