So many horror pieces happened. You really weren't scared by Annabelle becoming the demon to her mother or the girl becoming the demon to the guy with the cross or the girl trapped in the barn with the demon? It was just all so great.

I didn't read the links, so I'm willing to admit if I'm wrong, but doesn't he say the man claimed possesion, so possesion will be in the movie?
True, I thought it was because of him being a werewolf. I'm confused, I guess I'll have to see it then

After the great job they did with the werewolf in Annabelle Comes Home I'm really looking forward to what's in store for The Conjuring 3!

Working my way from the beginning of the chronological timeline and just watched The Nun last night. It was cool to see a modern gothic horror film. Will have to find the Anabelle movies next.

So what's the actual title? There seems to be conflicting information.

Wait, the director of The Curse of Lalaland or whatever it's called is taking the helm here?

Hard pass.

Yes. Michael Chaves.

TBF, the direction is the least of the film's problems.

That is one embarrassing title. I sincerely hope they drop the subtitle and call it The Conjuring 3.

It's still a director's responsibility to make sure the writing and other production areas are up to snuff.

Also, none of his prior work screams of anything significant.

This film will likely suck--or at best, just be forgettable.

I feel like if they were gonna go with that as the subtitle they could have made the E in Devil a 3 to continue the numericals up.

Thatís an unfair answer. Thereís been a lot of films where directors are limited in how much input they can give or how much they can change. It really depends on the whole cast and crew and how much creative freedom the studio gives each of them. Sometimes the script is already done before a director is brought in. Other times the studio micromanages everything and the director has very little creative input. Worst case the studio takes it away from the director and they do as they please (itís happened more than a few times).

Who knows what was the case with this movie. I thought the directing in the La Llorona was actually good. The script is where I though it could improve considerably.
