Default Playstation 3 won't play just ONE specific disc? (and makes sound like it's ejecting)

I bought a copy of Lego Movie 3D from my local Family Video, and was anxious to watch it at home.

BUT.... for some reason, the disc won't work in my PS3! I put it in, and it sounds like it tries to read for a minute then stops and the disc never shows up on my PS3 screen. It makes a sound like the disc is ejecting, but it doesnt actually come out until I go and hit the eject button. No other disc does this. I tried other discs after that and they all still work fine.
I tried the disc on someone else's 3DBD player and it worked fine.

Anyone else have a PS3 and have this problem?

Told you to get it from the UK......

Just joking, sometimes certain discs my ps3 just doesn't like. I'd suggest trying to get an exchange if the ps3 is your main 3D player.

Others say its a firmware thing so just double check yours is up to date

Worst come to it call up Sony support see if they can give you some trouble shooting steps

EDIT
some people are saying it may be a dirty or just bust up lens, but this description sounds eerily familiar to what you describe

Had this exact same problem with a movie called Muay Thai Warrior. Tried in on two PS3s and the PS4, and they all would not load at all. They all made that weird noise. The disc would appear on the XMB bar as unrecognizable or corrupt.

Fortunately, it worked perfectly in my Panasonic player.

My only thought at the time was that the disc itself may have been screwy (for some reason it is extremely transparent, and I wondered if the laser was having issues). But I had no problem with the LEGO Movie. After reading the info above, I'm now compelled to blame it on firmware or updates.

Yeah, what's weird is it only that movie, so I know its not a hardware problem, and that movie works on a different player, so I know its not a software problem.
However, my firmware is up to date, and I can't find any mention anyone else having problems with this particular movie.

Oh well, I'm not going to stress out about it. I just moved my other player to my 3d TV to watch it, then moved it back when I was done. I have the movie in 2D on UV, and I don't know how often this movie will actually get viewed in 3D, so it's not really going to be a problem. ... As long as a doesnt start happening with other movies.
