I have seen the seasons only once and partially that was a couple years ago.

But from my memory I would rank them like this so far:

1. Season 3
2. Season 4
3. Season 1
4. Season 2
5. Season 6
6. Season 7
7. Season 5

1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 are all so good, they're almost interchangeable.

...5 is the worst by a wide margin imo.

The lack of involvement from GRRM is a bit obvious in the last two seasons, but it's still the best thing on TV.

For me 6th season is much better than previous seasons.

I love them all in truth, but here is my initial ranking:

1. Season 6 (Brilliant season, my absolute favourite!)
2. Season 4
3. Season 3
4. Season 1
5. Season 5
6. Season 2
7. Season 7 (Weakest season imo, too short and lacked something..)

But even the weakest season had grand moments, and being critical
of it in this way just shows what a remarkable quality series this is!
