A) count as streaming use my data cap.

Just goes to show that you don't really "own" digital movies when you can't even watch it on every given platform.

I don't really own my Blu-Rays because I can't watch them on my grandmother's VHS player.

I like that comparison. You forgot to mention any DVD player.

Are you serious? My VHS player plays Blu-ray’s flawlessly.

So I linked my Xfinity to MA, and no 4K even on the 4K box. Also I’m missing 11 movies in Xfinity.

Remember that MA exists solely at the pleasure of the larger studios. Studios such as Disney and Fox like it that smaller studios can't have MA digital copies included with their BDs and UHDs.

MA will always do what is right for its primary benefactors, the larger studios. They will use MA to weed out their smaller competitors in the online digital space.

You know, I hadn't thought of it in those terms before... and unfortunately it does make sense. Though I don't think that they can entirely dominate using this method, they can certainly can convince a good portion of people that they should be buying only MA titles.

I’ve linked Xfinity, and finally got the directions on how it works with X1.

Once linked, can yes the Xfinity Stream app on you phone or the X1 box. To access you library you go to Saved, and open purchases. You Movies Anywhere Collection will be there.

Good news: It actually does give you access without Moviesanywhere app.

Bad News: 1. All of the titles are only available in HD. (I assume something may change down the road, but who knows.); 2. Depending on the studio, you may not recieve the movie in OAR. - I sampled The Predator (1.78 vs 2.40 OAR); Venom (Presented in its OAR) and Matrix Reloaded (as expected being WB the file available was 1.78 not its OAR.

This is another reason I’ll never go streaming only.
