Default Adventure Time in Australia

Can any tell me if the extras on Australian release of Adventure Time are the same as on the US releases?

Also, do Elements, Islands & Season 7 have extras?

I skim read the back of Seasons 1-4 which I own, and they appear to match the US reviews. Commentaries, Featurettes etc

Surprised that nobody has tested the region on these discs.

This one about to come out, that'd be the complete series? https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Adven...lu-ray/216824/

Nope, there are two more shorter seasons after eight. Weirdly, Madman has Season 9 scheduled for just three weeks after the release of that box set:

Can anyone confirm if seasons 7 and beyond from Madman work on a US BD player?

I just received the Madman release of season 8 (I meant to order season 7 but I wasn’t paying close enough attention) and I can confirm that it plays on my US Sony and Philips blu-ray players.

I have read accounts on the Adventure Time subreddit of US folks playing the season 7 blu-rays on US players.

Based on my experience I intend to order the rest of the seasons from Madman as I am able.

Thank you

Will Madman be releasing the mini-series Islands, Stakes and Elements on BD?

They are already available as part of their respective Season BDs. I highly doubt that Madman would release them as single miniseries blus. If they were going to do that, they would have released them at the same time as the Islands and Stakes DVDs.

It is even less likely now that the series is finished. I get these sense that Madman are trying to hurry up and get the season sets out and be done with it as soon as possible, before people forget about the show. I suspect that's why we've had the final few seasons in a very short period of time, rather than a year gap between them.

I can confirm on all seasons released so far from MadMan that yes, they do work in region A players. They all say region B locked on the packaging, but they all act like region free discs. They work in a Sony, Samsung, and Asus player that I own, as well as in my computer, and on my Xbox One. It looks like most of MadMan releases are like this. Iím considering pulling the trigger on the limited edition of Berserk, because it has no proper subtitled region A release.

Is the 1-8 set the individual cases inside a box or is it special packaging? (I got my fingers crossed it's the former, because I saw a video of 1-5 where it was the individual cases.)

I'll get back to you when I get home later today, and I'll post my findings on the disc's Blu-ray.com page too

Are the Madman Blu-rays for seasons 1-6 any different from their US counterparts in terms of the video/audio quality and extras?

I'm considering getting the Australian BDs, if I see them at a good price, but want to make sure I wouldn't be missing out on anything.

They're the same. I recommend waiting until December, there's a complete series set with a bonus disc coming out.

JB has just cut 20% off the price for one day only. Amazon AU has price matched.

Nice catch, I just assumed it would end with all the Black Friday/Cyber Monday stuff.
