That would be pretty weird since Halloween 6 isn’t part of this new timeline. Paul Rudd wouldn’t even be playing the same Tommy Doyle that he did before.

Yeah, but it would still have been cool.

That's an incredibly bad idea, reminding people of the reviled H6. The only worse thing they could do is bring back Busta Rhymes.

In all honesty, it's fan service enough that Myers himself isn't in an old folks' home.

I'm looking forward to this, because I really liked H18, but I'm a tad worried this is going the Endgame route of all fan service, all the time, f**k everything else.
A TON of people I went to high school with are still living in that town years later. I guess I was one of the "lucky" ones that moved away, but plenty stayed in that immediate area.

I have a feeling the 1978 flash back scene is going to be the opening credits scene before the pumpkin credits.

Man it's going to be a long year.

Good point...I never thought of that!

I was thinking the pre-opening credits would be similar to HII '81, recapping the climax of H'18 by showing Laurie setting fire to the basement and escaping with Allyson and Karen in the back of the truck.

Then transition to a scene of someone calling the fire department and Karen, Allyson tending to a fading Laurie on the way to the hospital. The fire dept. arrives at Laurie's house and determine someone is trapped in the basement and wind up freeing Michael, who in turn kills them and emerges from the burning house with the halligan bar in his hand.

Then cut to the pumpkin credits...

Man, this is definitely going to be one LONG year of speculation and theories!

I really hope Michael isn’t saved by the firefighters. I want him to get himself out through his own skill, luck, etc. I think he already had enough help in the last film!

Judging by the bts clip. He walks out the front door through the fire on his own.

At the L.A. premiere of "Knives Out" Jamie Lee Curtis praised Kyle Richards' performance in HALLOWEEN KILLS!

Supportive costar! Jamie Lee Curtis gushed about sharing the screen with Kyle Richards in the Halloween franchise.

Reality Stars You Forgot Starred in Horror Movies
“She is so great that it’s going to be so fun for her audience — who is now used to knowing her for her TV show,” the actress, 60, told Us Weekly and other reporters at the L.A. premiere of Knives Out on Thursday, November 14. “They are going to be so happy to see her be an actress again, and she is absolutely fantastic.”

Curtis was clearly impressed by the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s performance in Halloween Kills, which is set to be released in October 2020. “[She’s] so beautiful that, you know, she gets very decomposed. Not … you know what I mean,” she teased. “Like, distressed in this movie, in every way. Emotionally, physically, environmentally, and she just completely left that other life and just came and shot for three, four weeks and was amazing. People are going to be bonkers about her.”

I don't think she would have said anything bad. I really didn't like the mother-daughter-granddaughter thing at all and thought both actresses weren't that good either. I think jlc was better in H20 as was how she acted. This new one feels as if it'll be more like the last one which isn't a surprise I suppose.

This is creepy, especially the skin color around the eye.

Didn't Dr. Loomis say Myers had black eyes, like the Devil? In that photo he has blue eyes, LOL!

Loomis was talking about how Michael was a blank slate when he first met him; catatonic, nothing inside, no soul or thought, nothing. I don't think he meant to say that Michael's eye color is 'black' as a biological fact. It was a metaphor.

Yes, and it was he left eye, correct? If so, that photo can't be legit
