What's with the daredevil movie hate?

Well, to me it depends on if you played the game. Because Deputy Chief Jim Bravura whom he played was a old, white man, and I'm not trying to be racist. But, I played both games and beat both games on the X-BOX, so it ruined it for me for that reason.

That was the only thing that ruined it for you? That movie was awful. I had played the first one and loved it, but they never even came close to capturing the feel of the game. Then you get a small portion of the action that was throughout the game near the end of the movie, that was just stupid. So disappointed....

I also like Duncan and on a scale from 1-10(1=sucks 10=perfect)
i´d rate the Daredevil Director´s Cut 7.5/10

Personally I think the movie wasn't all that bad. The Director's Cut surely is the better version of the movie but all in all, even in theaters I thought it held its own story wise.

The biggest issue I have was with Ben Affleck. I don't think very highly of him as an actor and feel he dragged the movie down rather than elevate it. When I see actors like him or Brad Pitt in movies, I always feel they perform adequately (meaning: not poorly) but also don't add much to the movie to help it reach higher levels. On the other hand, when I see actors like Edward Norton, Christian Bale, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and the likes, all actors who are able to express a wider range of emotions and characterization, I feel they help elevate the movie higher than the script alone could.

So perhaps had they cast a 'better' Matt Murdock, the movie might have faired better. At least, in my opinion.

Yay, other people that like it. I like the theatrical version better than the Director's Cut. Who in their right mind would leave Jennifer Garner standing in the rain on a rooftop when she just propositioned you? Cannot a hero get some love every once in a while?

I actually liked Daredevil as well, and I thought it was really cool to have Michael Clark Duncan as Kingpin @ first I was apprehensive at the idea, resentful even but after I had watched it I was very pleased and felt he did a wonderful job

yeah, but Colin Farrell's awfulness as Bullseye counters any of the good
i remember watching Daredevil years ago with friends and saying, "god... is he really as bad as i think he is?" and everyone was in unanimous agreement that he was awful. it was almost like he was trying desperately to get fired or something. it was mind blowing, especially considering he is a really talented actor!
