Yeah Iím not expecting a breakthrough but I want to see the first NHL game on current gen. NHL 21 was last gen.

Also added Trek to Yomi sp?

I have seen a few reviews on this & the general vibe is that gameplay sucks but the story & atmosphere are ok.

Downloaded that this morning and have put about four hours in already today. Itís a nice rainy day game and Iíve enjoyed it, even if itís a bit repetitive.

I fired up Battlefront 2015 cuz why not. lol

Iím getting the impression all Xbox One games take full advantage of the SSD on the Series consoles. First was BF2, then Fallout 4 & now this.

All these titles take much longer to load on PS5.
So Sony definitely ainít using anything past SATA III speeds for any BC game.

Havenít tried 360 games yet. I should try Final Fantasy 13 & see if there is any loading whatsoever.

The wifeís been playing New Vegas on the Series X, it was her game back in the day and spent the entire summer playing it.

The very first thing she mentioned was how damn fast the game loads compare to the 360 days lol

I keep anything not "optimized for Series consoles" on an external spinning drive so that includes Xbox, 360 and a lot of One titles. They're all plenty fast off of that too.

Nothing wrong with that. I think me getting the 2TB EC was a bit overkill. I was kinda scratching my head when people got the SX at launch & they were happy with loading times. Meanwhile I was thinking they were getting the same SSD speeds as PS5. Nope. They were getting all the benefits for every game, not just 9th gen ones.

What I remembered during playing battlefront 2015 on SX which you canít do on PS5 is when the match is over & the game is transitioning to the next map.. Xbox has an option to hold A button to skip directly to the next map. When ya do this, itís near instant.

So typically any 8th gen game will load around 10% quicker than the same game running off of PS5ís SSD.

Also nice you can play in 120hz with VRR on every game.

Pretty much none. Most of the time, you barely see the actual loading screens. I was playing it some last Summer.

I played it last year and can confirm there's load times with Final Fantasy 13, but they are fairly quick. I would imagine it looks better on Xbox than PS3 as well since it was optimized for the Xbox One X. Obviously that was the opposite back in that generation as FF13 on the Xbox 360 was a joke in comparison.

Yeah I played sum hours on that ďslightlyĒ remastered Xbox One X version. There was loading screens but was fairly quick. The game looks great thanks to them updating it. Will have to add to the must test list. lol
