I got the tv today. I got an email saying it was in. I was told it would be here Saturday morning. I've spent hours trying to get the picture right. It still needs some tweaking. And, it'll take me awhile to get used to it. Since I've been using a 46" tv. I should be getting the receiver in a month. I also gonba get some banana plugs for the speaker wires.

I have 7.1 surround sound. After i did the settings. I'm blown away by the picture quality. Even though I'm still using my old receiver. The build quality is great. It's a little on the heavy side. The power plug is on one side. While the connections are on the other side. The set up takes awhile. Takes about 10 minutes to do it. I'm in stowe and the closest for me is whitehall. I had it shipped to the store. I ordered it Wednesday and it was here today. And it was just small enough to fit in the back of the car.

It's worth the $1500 price tag. And, the remote looks pretty cool as well.

It's a 2.35:1 aspect ratio screen, so my movie content is 'larger' than HDTV. I want bigger. Pic in my profile.

I recommend staying with the flat screen .. I have two 55 inch Samsung tvs that are not 4K and they have been fantastic!

I'm interested in the 'Samsung - 65" Class (64-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 4K Ultra HD TV (2160p) - 120Hz - Smart - 3D - HDTV', but it is hard to spend the money with my other two tvs still performing so well. But I'm still tempted. They even have some of last year's 4K models on clearance at Best Buy which makes it even more appealing.

Here's the set I keep looking at:

500 bucks really isn't a bargain for going out models but I agree... M5 c8000 has been awesome and other than replacing just to get a few inches and 4k I don't see much point.
