Default Blu-ray is hitting mainstream media...

And by that I mean your local TV station.

This morning, Channel 3 Arizona (AZTV) - #1 Newscast in the morning.

"It seems we might see the end of the battle between the High Definition formats Blu Ray and HD DVD sooner than expected.
Sony anounced this morning that its next generation console, the Playstation 3, has sold more than 1 million units in December alone, and it includes a Blu Ray capable player.
Also, in News that were released this past Friday, Warner has decided to back exclusively the Blu Ray format which should be good news for those hesitating between formats for their HDTV."

From Tara, the "hottie" of the show: "Well, I know Dan has chosen to buy a Blu Ray, so I'm happy this all seems to comfort him in his choice, and where Dan goes, I go..."

(Dan is their "gadget man" - He presented Pirates of the Burning Seas on PS3 a little later live from the CES).

I repeatedly see a Blu-ray commercial on the MHD (Music High Def) channel almost once an hour!
