I used to be a big fan of this show when I was younger. Are there any stores to buy it from besides Amazon? I'd rather pick this one up in-stores. Moviestop? Walmart? Target? Best Buy?

I never seen this show. However, I do plan on blind-buying this Blu-ray because I heard it contains the HD remastered video from the Japanese releases and you can't go wrong with $22.00.

This is, simply, my all-time favorite anime. Since I live in Brazil, it should take a while for the package from Amazon arrive, so if anyone has the pack in hands, I'd appreciate some pics

I used to watch this all the time when I was younger and still remember how excellent it was. Really emotional. I will pick this up soon.

I picked this up at my local Best Buy today. Watching it as we speak.

Thinking about buying these too. Yu Yu Hakusho was one of my all time favorites. How's the packaging and the PQ? Amazon for $22.99 is tempting.

Your jpg is compressed 8x more than your png, which is more compression than our jpgs.

Yes it should have one. In fact, all of the Anime Classics series from Funimation have slipcovers in their original pressing.

Thank you so much. I was just wondering because my bf bought both season 2 & 3 of the series and season 2 had its slipcover but season 3 didn't for some reason.

Well slipcovers are in the original pressing and then reverted to without having a slipcover in the 2nd pressing, 3rd, and so forth pressings. So might have been a copy from a 2nd pressing or perhaps maybe some error from either Funimation or whatever seller the copy came from.

Like I know 1 time I ordered a game from Amazon that had some exclusive mini-poster that was only available through them. When my copy of the game arrived, it didn't come with it even though it was a 1st press copy. However, the video game company screwed up and forgot to supply those mini-posters to Amazon. So I emailed them about it, and got my mini-poster.

Plus I remember when Funimation screwed up on Afro Samurai: Ressurrection or how they didn't make enough Blu-ray copies of Summer Wars Blu-ray and there wasn't enough 1st press copies even before the release date which led to not enough slipcovers on the Blu-ray version.

Still like this anime quite a bit but have to say after the climactic showdown with Sensui it slows down a lot, everything after that is a bit of a let-down. I did enjoy their attempt at a wrap-up in the series finale.
