Sorry if this question has been asked already but how much do these editions cost? I'm hoping I don't have to pay $50+ for these releases (I'm eyeing the Clouzot set so I'd be fine with it being slightly over $50).

Depends on which releases you're talking about. Some are approx. US$40 + shipping if they're just cases w/ slips. Prices go up from there, upwards of US$100 + shipping (and we're talking US$40-50 in many cases, as they're heavy box sets that sellers will only send via express services).

Yeah the cost and shipping isn't cheap on the Disk Kino 100X series are pretty significant, like A Writer's Odyssey 4k was the equivalent of $100US plus shipping. But the Disk Kino 200X series are more around $50 plus shipping. They are basically regular size.

I got your point, but "A Writer's Odyssey" is really not a great example,
it is by far the heaviest and biggest (in size) set released by Disk Kino XD

Even compared to 100x release like the Wandering Earth, it is at least 3x the size and feels like more then 10x the weight.

But I would hope Disk Kino to do it again on the Wandering Earth 2, as its size and weight purely come from its rich presswork.
(unlike Ne Zha, which feels much much lighter with comparable size)

Also, a new title in Disk Kino 20xx series was added to the list, it's Kong Dashan's Journey to the West, a weird but fascinating film with unique mix of mockumentary, comedy and sci-fi elements. Frant Gwo and Gong Geer both produced and acted in this film.

FYI, MP just opened up a large GB for some previously released titles. My understanding is that they've tended to have some extra copies sitting around, and you could ask nicely in order to get a copy of stuff you missed. This is basically that, just openly visible.

Hi. This is kinda off-topic but worth noting if anybody's using Buyoyo.

Recently, I purchased Nice View. I missed the one copy left in stock, so the site said it'd take 7-11 days to order. I checked in with Buyoyo a couple of days ago, when changing my address. It looks like it's going to be over a month of waiting, when all is said and done. I'm not sure what happened. Either way, it's worth noting if you're in a hurry for some reason, or moving.

Also, has anybody seen any copies of Why Try to Change Me Now available yet? I haven't seen any on Buyoyo or eBay. I'm not 100% sure it's even available in China yet, despite having supposedly been released two weeks ago.

It's officially released this month in China here, I already got my copy.
