Personally, I thought the Golgo series was lackluster. Not that it was bad, but since it was completely episodic there was no real thrill like the movies. Just him making an seemingly impossible (and downright ridiculous at times) shot over and over. I think there were only 2 multi-ep stories out of the entire 50, which made it a slog for me after awhile.

Had there been some actual story arcs, with him planning & escaping, getting caught & chased, etc. (basically mini versions of the movies) then it could've been a banger.

About a month until Anime Expo but almost 2 until Otakon. Can’t wait for both for all of the anime news. But mostly Otakon.
