I've searched the posts here and have not found anything in regards to posting video links ala Youtube so as the video itself appears in your post. So for those who want to post Vimeo or Youtube vids in your posts (and are having a hard time doing so for whatever reason), here is what you do:
- More often than not, you can usually scroll over text to highlight it and go to the "globe with paperclip" symbol above to turn those words into a web link, like this. - In this case, you may want to add the actual video (so people can play it right there in your response). Usually you would post this: ["url="http://youtube.com/watch?v=vbgLapRAloQ"]http://youtube.com/watch?v=vbgLapRAloQ[/url"] (minus the " around the URL words) - Instead, take out the "http://" in front of the youtube video link, like this: ["url="http://youtube.com/watch?v=vbgLapRAloQ"]http://youtube.com/watch?v=vbgLapRAloQ[/url"] into ["url="http://youtube.com/watch?v=vbgLapRAloQ"]youtube.com/watch?v=vbgLapRAloQ[/url"] - The final result should look like this: Now you can post video links into your threads! Have fun! PS: remember to NOT include the quotation marks. I included them above so you could see the code and see what was going on. Last edited by Monroville; 01-04-2013 at 09:36 PM. |
