The Manga UK versions of FUNimation’s Dragon Ball Z steelbooks were 95% identical, except the paper shrinkwrapped to the steelbook was different (it was cardboard for Manga UK, and wrapped around with the BBFC rating), and the discs have Manga UK’s logo in addition to FUNi’s, along with BBFC ratings. The steelbooks themselves and disc content was unchanged. I would imagine the CR UK YYH set will be similar.

The release was pushed back to 17th April, probably because of the assets from the US stalling it (so I'm probably expecting it to go out of print sooner due to lack of stock). Some UK variations in the past went out of print sooner due to this issue (BOFURI for example).

Thanks for the responses. I was aware it was delayed again but seems strange Amazon UK hasn't updated the listing or release date. My order still says expected to arrive by tomorrow, wonder what it will change to after.

I've been buying a bit too much anime lately, just placed another $80 order from RightStuf because they have such a good deal on the first Urusei Yatsura set... so I guess I don't mind if this takes a bit longer lol.

Just looked at my order from Amazon UK again and they finally updated the release date to April 17, now it's saying expected to arrive between 28 Apr - 3 May. Not that I believe it really, but we'll see!

The damage is only scratching so far right? I might just need to pick up a disk reader so I can run my blu-rays through for scratches.

U.K. set just arrived. Not a scratch or fingerprint in sight. Everything looks perfect.

Got in my AOL UK set. Zero scratches except for a couple fingerprints. The Season 4 bonus disc might have a very slight one that's only visible under my flashlight, but I'm not too worried about it (it only has 18 mins of content. lol). The discs are labeled region B, but they work in my region A player. Looks identical to the US set except the paper stuck to the box and the BBFC ratings on the discs.

EDIT: Here’s something interesting that I don’t think has been pointed out, but Crunchyroll put their name at the end of the credits in the episodes themselves. The top of the credits still say “English Reversioned by FUNimation,” but the tiny copyright notice at the very end says “Licensed by Crunchyroll LLC.”

I’m debating on picking up a used copy of US Manga Corps’ Poltergeist Report movie DVD since it’s not going for that much (not even the 2006 reissue), and I really want to complete the franchise. On the other hand, I’m wondering if Crunchyroll might finally rescue it in the near future since the film turned up in the 2018 Japanese Blu-ray boxset in HD.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. We’ve already seen Yu Yu Hakusho get re-released on Blu-ray TWICE since 2018.
