United Kingdom British film Live Now, Pay Later (Renown Pictures DVD-only release)

Renown Pictures updated their website today with the latest batch of specials (for June and July), which if like previous offers (I've only visited their website the past few months, so this is based on these months) will last until mid-July. Among the titles listed on the two pages is a DVD-only release from Renown Pictures of a previously 'lost' British film called Live Now, Pay Later. This film was featured on a recent, new edition of TV series The Footage Detectives (think it was the Sunday 5th June edition) during a tribute to the late actor Peter Bowles (a clip was shown from the film, with Bowles onscreen alongside fellow actor Ian Hendry).

Below is the Renown Pictures website listing page for the DVD-only release of Live Now, Pay Later, followed by the front cover artwork:

United Kingdom TV series The Jensen Code, The Paper Lads and Sky

Might add to the list of Network DVD releases I want to get:

The Jensen Code: The Complete Series
The Paper Lads: The Complete Series
and Sky: The Complete Series.

Does anyone remember seeing these three series on their original UK TV run, or when they were possibly repeated?

Default Network's Coming Soon and Exclusives sections on their website

The way things are going in the Coming Soon section on Network's website, it'll soon be like Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard. (Not a criticism, just an observation that there hasn't been much in the way of new titles being added to that and the Exclusives sections recently).

United Kingdom Country Matters: The Complete Series

After checking the Network Blu-ray thread yesterday and discovering some new Blu-ray film titles had been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website (a surprise as things have been quiet recently), I checked the Coming Soon section and saw that a DVD release of an older TV series has been added as well, alongside the new film titles (DVD):

Country Matters: The Complete Series - Monday 22nd August, 2022
Please Sir! - Monday 29th August, 2022
The Sandwich Man - Monday 29th August, 2022

Have to admit, I've never heard of Country Matters before. It appears to be a Granada series. I'm still hoping Network do a DVD release of at least the first series of In Suspicious Circumstances, which is also from Granada (they're not always accurate, but on Wikipedia, it says that there were some legal issues with some of the stories).

Below is the Network website listing page link for Country Matters: The Complete Series, followed by the front cover artwork:

United Kingdom Summer Savings (Network website)

Network have currently got a discount sale on, on three hundred selected titles (up to 60% off on some titles). I was hoping Bless This House: The Complete Series was one of the titles, but sadly not. Some of the ABC Nights In volumes and Sergeant Cork: The Complete Series are though.

On Network's Facebook page it states that this offer ends next Monday (8th August) at 4 pm BST.

United Kingdom The British Film line (new titles coming soon)

After checking the Network Blu-ray thread in the UK & Ireland sub-forum and finding that some new titles have been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website, have checked that Coming Soon section for the new DVD titles (they're all in the British Film line):

Life for Ruth - Monday 12th September, 2022
Sky West and Crooked - Monday 12th September, 2022
Vice Versa - Monday 5th September, 2022.

Life for Ruth and Sky West and Crooked both sound very interesting.

United Kingdom Give Us A Clue (Michael Aspel era)

Hi guys. I've recently read on Facebook that Network are releasing the complete Michael Aspel era of Give Us A Clue on DVD in September. Unfortunately, I forgot to remember which group I saw the post as there was also artwork. There will be 13 discs.

Amazon's search engine has it's issues sometimes, but I can't find anything on Amazon UK for Give Us a Clue and Eurotrash (the latter has had a thread started for it in UK TV Shows).

My memory of Eurotrash is a bit rusty, but I remember it airing in the UK on (I think) Channel Four around 11 pm.

Amazon UK's search engine for titles coming soon had been better (you selected "DVD and Blu-ray", typed in "Network", and refine it by selecting "Release date", and would get the forthcoming titles starting with the furthest away), but recently it hasn't been like that.

United Kingdom Network titles coming soon

The Coming Soon section on Network's website has been updated with a couple of new DVD titles:

Come Back Lucy: The Complete Series - Monday 17th October, 2022
Tales of Unease: The Complete Series - Monday 17th October, 2022.

The Blu-ray titles (upgrades of The Intruder: The Complete Series and The Owl Service: The Complete Series) have likely been posted about in the UK & Ireland sub-forum thread.

United Kingdom Further ABC Nights In DVD volumes

Either later on yesterday or during today, some new DVD titles were/have been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website, eight further ABC Nights In volumes (titles and their release date are subject to change). They have the same release date of Monday 7th November, 2022:

ABC Nights In: 'Welcome Once Again to Manchester'
ABC Nights In: 'Getting Rid of People'
ABC Nights In: 'Set Your Minds Free'
ABC Nights In: 'I'm Drunk with Success'
ABC Nights In: 'Kafka? On a Cruise?'
ABC Nights In: 'Don't Look Now, But We're Being Followed'
ABC Nights In: 'Lincolnshire Closed Today'
and ABC Nights In: 'Is It High? Is It Low? Is It in the Middle?'.

Like what eventually happened with Dial 999, I'm hoping anthology series Jezebel Ex UK gets an eventual Complete Series DVD release by Network.

United Kingdom New DVD titles added to Coming Soon section on Network's website

Sometime during the past few days, some new DVD titles have been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website (titles and their release dates are subject to change):

Carry On Christmas - Monday 14th November, 2022
Elizabeth Taylor in London/Sophia Loren in Rome - Monday 21st November, 2022 (*)
Give Us a Clue - Monday 28th November, 2022 (**)
New Captain Scarlet: The Complete Series - Monday 14th November, 2022 (*)
and Tommy Cooper at ITV - Monday 21st November, 2022.

(*) Elizabeth Taylor in London/Sophia Loren in Rome and New Captain Scarlet: The Complete Series have previously been released on Blu-ray by Network.

(**) Give Us a Clue was first posted about in this thread in early August. I have only seen it listed on Network's website and on Amazon UK (haven't checked elsewhere).

Below are the Network website listing page links for the above new DVD titles, followed by their large front cover artwork (hence the spoiler tags):

I assume the Tommy Cooper set basically includes what was in the previous Cooper set plus any new Cooper stuff released since the previous set?

United Kingdom Gerry Anderson titles

A couple of things. Firstly, Network have currently got a sale on on fifty selected TV boxset titles (30% off). Have checked Network's Facebook page, and like on the website section for their sale I can't see when this current sale ends (only one title in the sale I'm interested in, George and the Dragon).

Secondly, two new DVD titles have been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website (titles and their release dates are subject to change):

Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted - The Extended Director's Cut - Monday 30th January, 2023
Stand by for Action!: Gerry Anderson in Concert - Monday 28th November, 2022.

*****

Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted - The Extended Director's Cut is also being released on Blu-ray by Network on the same date (this will likely have been posted about in the Network Blu-ray thread in the UK & Ireland sub-forum, along with a Blu-ray-only release of Presented in SuperColorisation (which has a UK release date of Monday 12th December, 2022).

Recently, I had seen a pre-order listing on Deep Discount (in the Coming Soon section for US boutique label MPI Home Video) for a DVD-only release of Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted (it has a release date of Tuesday 10th January, 2023).
