Nice! Are you planning to dress up the columns in any way, or just leave them with drywall?

I havenít really thought about it. I am leaning towards just drywall with some baseboards. The tops will go ďaboveĒ the drywall going on the ceiling.

So if I dressed the tops the posts will look very low as the ceiling is very low in both posts locations.

You can go simple and put some type of Crown Molding at the top and baseboard at the bottom to give it a "look" or they also sell column covers.

Default Waiting Inspection

All rough inís completed, pot light rough inís to, waiting for inspection. Where I live it is law to have an inspection on any electrical work. Then once this is done can provide juice from panel. Then after drywall inspection is done again.

Besides who wants to give an insurance company any loop hole if there is ever a problem!
