^ If I remember correctly, Ps Now used to offer games separately. so maybe itís a glitch showing the old ps now price?

I just donít want to have high hopes tbh

I rather pay to purchase classic games rather than have a subscription to access them. I really hope this option is being offered.

It's only one game, but hopefully that's a sign they will be downloadable since I don't know of any game you can buy and not download. That is if this wasn't just a glitch or anything, but if it's not a glitch, then it's a sign they might actually be doing at least one thing right with this.

Give me the Ratchet and Clank Future series Sony. Preferably a remaster on disc but I could live with being able to download my digital purchases I already made.

someone compared the prices, and this is just the old Ps Now pricing showing on the store, so it's a bug

Since it's still under the PlayStation Plus branding/page, I'm not sure what someone would be excited about. The PS+ monthly games have always been under no extra cost as long as you're a PS+ member.

The “Fine Print” on the bottom hasn’t changed. Still says you need to be active PS Plus member.

Game Pass has been very innovative and great value. Like others, I wonder how long it will stay at the price it is. I think Sony needs it's own version moving forward. Perhaps the purchase of Bungie will help achieve this - veering into live services? I'm not a huge fan of live services, but I can see the potential appeal if done correctly.

PlayStation plans 3 Spartacus tiers for as much as $16 per month

Quote:
With the caveat that much of this could still change, here is the general structure of what to expect from PS Plus's Spartacus upgrade. Highlights include Game Trials for new games (similar to EA Play) in the top tier and a downloadable game catalogue with hundreds of games.

PS + Essential is $10 and has monthly games like normal. Extra is $13 and gets you what seems like the downloadable library of PS Now games only. PS+ Premium is $16 per month and gets you cloud streaming, classic games, and game trials.

I've also heard this will come with a facelift for the store and for your library management.

I donít like the sound of $10pm for the basic. Thatís $120 a year way more than what it currently costs for the same service by the looks of this.

That is hilariously bad. I signed up for a year of PS+ in August because it was $30 and it has been a complete waste of money as I haven’t cared about a single one of the free games they have given since then. The only benefit I got was playing through Final Fantasy 15 which I coupd have bought outright for $10 for Black Friday.

Well if you don't care for the games they offer, you don't play MP games, and you don't take advantage of their online store sales then yeah sounds like you wasted $30.

The hope was they would offer several games I would enjoy throughout the year to justify the $30, thus far not so. I’ve saved maybe $3 on extra PS+ discount on games.

$10 per month which will become £10 per month for the UK is a complete scam when you get a years worth for like £30-38 on offer.

Their whole entire pricing and offering to include PS+ and PS Now sounds like BS when the pricing seems to be more expensive than you pay individually for both atm

I knew Sony weren't going to be able to resist trying to make a cash grab BS thing. Remember when MS tried to raise the price of Xbox for basic access to such a high degree, the backlash was huge. I don't know why but i feel like this "leak" is all BS and designed to try and feed sites and see what the consensus ends up on how people feel giving them free analytics to scrape. Especially if they can use a keyword like "Spartacus" to filter responses out.

The whole "doing limited game trials for people" is basically developers offering a demo that Sony is now paywalling too imo behind pricing that screams cash grab rather than a genuine interest to try and drive sales.

Yep, I never pay more than £40 for 12 months.

If they try bending me over, more than they have, I'll just start playing my Xbox more...
Stick to Exclusive SP games on my PS

I'm in a similar boat atm. I didn't like the price rise but i got deals usually to make it cheaper and i felt it was okay to pay that still. However if they do not have a proper combined 12 month pricing option like they do presently to counter that ridiculous 1 month pricing, i'd be incredibly surprised.

I will bottom line this for myself. Unless this service allows us to play the ENTIRE legacy library natively (no streaming), including PS3 games, I am not interested in this! If Sony cannot provide this, I just hope we will be allowed to continue to subscribe to PS Plus separately from PS Now. I do not want to pay for an arbitrary price hike and forced to take a service I don't want.
