yeah but i think the only difference is the discs inside. The DL for single sales is called the UE or Ultimate Edition and it will have all 3 discs inside (4k+3d+2d). The DL in the OC will be same slip and all but only have a 4k disc in it.

It's not a 3D disc. It's a bonus blu-ray disc.

nah, it usually depends which movie. spiderman homecoming and into spiderverse has the 3d disc and so do many others. maybe they didn't do a 3d for TDK.

Hi Kevin,

I just want to clarify a couple of things:

1) You have written that the steelbook in the Full Slip is a World Wide Artwork steelbook. Is this a different steelbook than the World Exclusive Artwork steelbook that is in the other 2 slips? Or are all 3 steelbooks the same WEA steelbook?

2) You have written that the DL in the OC Boxset contains a photo booklet and that the DL for individual sale contains a 44 page booklet.

Are these booklets the same?

The Dark Knight wasn't released in 3D.

You just have to read what Kevin listed:

lol yeah the DL UE(single sale) will usually have the 3d but since no 3d for TDK it looks like
they just put a bonus disc instead. The DL in the OC will still only have the 4k disc to answer the guys question.

also that WWA is just a copy and paste misprint or something. Same WEA steel in all slips and same booklet in both DL UE and DL in OC. Blufans has always done it that way.

You can't know that for sure. Only Kevin will be able to clear this out.
An "usual way" doesn't automatically mean it is "ALWAYS way" (which you seem to get guided by on both your responses, with the 3D and the WEA vs WWA).
To put it in your perspective, The Dark Knight trilogy movies, (to my knowledge) had always been accompanied by a bonus disk, either being the 4K (3 disks) or the BD (2 disks), while here, at Blufans, ONLY that specific Full Slip has all three (3) disks, compared with all other editions, which would (kinda strongly) suggest that they indeed used an WEA SteelBook.


Just my friendly ideas, no need to be combative without real arguments, OK?

lol how much do you want to bet? lol. This is not the only place that has info on this release. Kevin has been known to have typo errors on his descriptions in the past, its not a big deal. Relax people and just enjoy the fact that we are getting this release that I'm sure will be awesome.

Sorry for the confusion! Full slip has WEA steelbook and same booklet for DL edition, the only difference is the disc setup. The one in the boxset has only one disc. Thanks!

4K discs are region free, outside of the age restriction logos that EU discs carry, there’s no difference.

They are all region free discs, but I heard there is a bit subtitle difference on each disc.
