My get tells me Sony will make more of these eventually. I think they underestimated just how quickly pre-orders would sell out. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they are making more of them as we speak.

My shipment has been transferred from UPS to the Postal Service. The snow forecast has been upped to 18-24+ inches. I almost hope they wait until after the storm to deliver it. I can just see my delivery truck sliding down some embankment.

I'm trying to resist the unboxing videos, I think I want my "first time" to be live and in person.

I've never understood the point of putting together an awesome bonus disc and then making it virtually unavailable ever again. This defeats the very point of home video. The discs are the easy part to stamp out once they're authored. Make the box and fancy stuff limited, of course. But the extras disc? Hell no. Make that available in standard editions. I'm sick of having to spend $100 for a box I don't want to get a disc of bonus features.

Obviously he wasn't literally forced. But anybody who wants to see those extras has zero choice but to spend $100 to see them, even if they have no desire to buy the new film or the box or even the second film. So for many, that bonus disc costs $100. I've seen the first film a ton of times and honestly my TV will do better with the 4k-mastered blu-ray I already own than with the Sony Light Cannon UHD, so I'm in no rush to buy this on UHD. But I really want to see those extras. But not for $100. If I could buy just the first film separately with the bonus disc, like we should be able to, I'd have done it.

Oh wow that’s knee deep snow. The largest amount of snow I saw was 12 inches way back in 2004 in my hometown of Charlotte, NC. Haven’t had another deep snowfall since then. I remember in 2014, some people in Atlanta freaked out over 2 inches of snow on the interstate 😂 And they were blaming the mayor for not having the roads treated ahead of time

Surely Amazon will have the sense to pack this in a box. Both my Resident Evil and Underworld sets arrived to the UK in an oversized packet.

It’s what makes the set extra special, they include something not available anywhere else and if you want it you have to spend the money, has been a very common practise for a very long time across multiple industries (exclusive items available from only certain stores/special sets containing exclusive items available no where else etc)

This business model works and has made people buy things they otherwise wouldn’t have just to get that must have bonus item.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but I got the UK Ultimate Collection just now and the Trap Case has no lights inside it, so guess that's just on the US set, unless I'm missing something ?

Things missing on UK set are Slipcovers, Lights in the Trap Box and can't see a digital code for GB 2016 (not a big loss) everything else looks to be the same.

Might have to cancel this one. I know lights and slips aren't much, but to be asked to pay more for less is quite insulting.
