There is a Blu-ray release already in Spain. I expect/hope that Eureka and Criterion will eventually follow suit.

The Spanish Blu-ray seems to be from Universal, so not a bootleg like many releases there tend to be:

It was restored in 2017 by UCLA and The Film Foundation

Is The Great Silence completely OOP now? Amazon says it's "temporarily" out of stock, but I can't find it for sale anywhere else so I'm worried it might not be as temporary as they claim.

You'd think that in a market filled with bootlegs, Universal Spain would spend more than 5 minutes to create artwork for a classic movie, and not choose a badly cheapy colorised photo assigned to a kindergarten student.

Looks like the limited edition is, they will probably roll out a regular edition soon.

I would imagine they will roll out a standard edition in a short time with a smaller booklet and no slip.

Looks like Zavvi has a 20% off deal on select MoC titles.

Quite a few under £10 as well before the discount. Hmm what to prioritise!

If Movies and Games On-Line don’t fulfil my order soon I’m going to be mightily annoyed Guess you can’t always trust the cheapest price

Last copies available at Eureka webstore and at some retailers.
Even though some of these I would rather buy the US release for (A New Leaf and Tiger), and I have the BFI release of Birth (might even sell it), this is mightily depressing. I think half of the Eureka releases I own are OOP at this point. Hope I can still find some of these, though it will probably be a trend for other labels as the market decreases too. I don’t have the time to watch them and don’t have much to spend on discs unless I sell some of what I have but I still have to get them while I can because scalper prices might well be twice the price and copies scarce.

I just ordered The Barefoot Contessa from Base as they are generally reliable. bestmediagroup are also selling a copy through Amazon. Hope I don’t need to find a replacement clear case for this.

I want to watch more films from the 2010s I missed when they came out and that’s definitely one of them.

Managed to grab a copy of Edvard Munch from Amazon NL. It's a cool edition with a nice booklet (similar to the ones you get with the sturdy slipcase editions, like Johnny Guitar).

Not as bad as the artwork for the Sammo Hung triple-feature at least.

I just received custom charges from dutch customs for the sammo hung release of two warroirs and the progidal son.
Last year everything ordered directly from eureka went straight through customs without any additional costs like vat.
Has anyone also experienced this or is this just an incident or something?

I've been really busy last week with work that I completely missed Eureka's deletion posts and wasn't visiting the forum at all. Unfortunately two titles I really wanted, A New Leaf and Eureka, are now gone .
What puzzles me is how fast all deleted titles have gone OOP in Amazon. I always thought that there would be a fairly reasonable amount of time for a title to go OOP in Amazon after gone OOP in Eureka's site.

Now I'll definitely purchase Three Days of the Condor and stop waiting and I'll start prioritizing my MOC purchases against all others.
