All my third and first party American PlayStation 2, PS3 and PS4 games I just checked were printed in U.S.A. I couldn't find where the country is located on Gamecube games and got bored. Most North American Blu-rays are printed in Mexico.

Everything on a video game disc can't be redundant. If the quality control was as bad, I would have heard gamers complain about not being able to install new games. I would have heard them complain about visible scratches and smudges somewhere in all these years.
