I got my set today. The good news: The movie came with a slip and digital code... it was like new. The booklet had some creases at the bottom and the box doesn't light up or make a noise. Still worth it.

Picked up 42nd Street said condition was acceptable. However when I received it, it looked like a truck literally drove over it multiple times the case was crushed. Ended sending it back not sure who's definition they use as acceptable is?

A completely crushed case with damaged artwork is unacceptable, unless it's a Criterion or another expensive boutique label title selling for $4 or less.

I saved $2 or $3 on The Jetsons and the case and artwork were smashed. I sent that back too.

Received a title yesterday that had been listed as "Very Good" but looked much the same, if not worse. Cost lest than $4 and disc itself was undamaged, not a fingerprint on it, plus its price point is $20-25, but message received - YMMV. That said, I used to order from them often years ago and remember several "Acceptable" blus arriving intact and even factory sealed.

Yeah, it cuts both ways. But if you care about case condition -- especially with digis, cardboard box sets -- you're taking a significant chance with "Acceptable."

Have never bit on those used, though we no doubt have all experienced the pain of buying brand new digis and cardboard boxed sets and receiving them battered. Otherwise, I'm grateful to have remaining replacement Viva, Vortex and Criterion cases from a large Casetopia order I placed last year (example #112 of "how to tell you're a collector").

Ordered a "used/like new" copy of Resident Evil: 4K collection earlier this week for just under $90. Figured I'd take a chance. Just came in today brand new! Really happy about that since it's OOP and going for quite a bit right now.

Very true. I've had good luck with lots of Warehouse sales, though the asinine stickers they put on them often necessitates a case change. The one time I ordered a Warehouse Blu labeled as "acceptable" was the WAC title PETE KELLY'S BLUES for $8.99. The disc arrived broken in two pieces. I've never gambled on an "acceptable" again.

I got the WB 50 Film Collection, 5 years ago from warehouse.

It was in “good” condition and only $37.99.

All it had was some packing tape on the bottom. Included all the extras and digital copies too.

I bought the Paramount Presents version of GHOST recently foe a few bucks cheaper, described in “Very Good” condition. And it was. The slip, case, looked great…too bad the BluRay was the OLD release someone had swapped in and returned. Thankfully, this was a product that could be returned again.
Rule of thumb…on these reissues, always check the disc is the new version.

Thanks for the alert, but nearly everything I looked at was not eligible for the promotion or it was so overpriced to begin with that the discount merely brought it down to prices easily found elsewhere. Too bad, but hopefully others can find stuff.
