i have all the db/dbz/dbgt movies and when i got the blu of broly it blew me away, i compared the dvd and blu and honestly i mean really being 100% honest it is like night and day, it's insane and is my top anime blu i show off to friends when i talk about bluray. words do not do the blu justice, if you see it buy it.

as for the other releases i think i read on here that they are releasing another dbz movie soon on blu. but as for the series, i stopped buying the seasons b/c inside they say they are already remastered the seasons (they are up to season 4 right now i think.....i stopped buying after season 2) using dvnr1000 to remove grain, teranex vc600 to get rid of digital noise,dust,scratches and debris. then run threw a da vinci 2k plus color system and the finally used a sony HDCAM to make the hd transfer and then laid to tape at 1080p/24fps.

so in a nut shell yes i hope that they sell super well so i can buy dbz seasons uncut on bluray. now all they need to do is re-release the Dragonball seasons again and make sure to get season 1 uncut in the states and trash that so called dragonball goku saga (season 1) that was sold at walmart.

the broly bd sold really well which is why they are making another dbz release. as for dbgt.......well give me complete series of db & dbz and then ill buy the dbgt last.

im a huge DBZ fan and i bought Broly on Blu, and its amazing, but u do see black spots every now and then, but if ur a fan like me, u wont care. I dont know if Funimation will release them on Blu, but buy the movies and surely if sales are good, they will begin to release them on blu too

cant say about the Japanese track but i do know the English version is going to get a lossless Dolby TrueHD audio track

eh, they got one DBZ purchase out of me, in hopes theyd quickly spread in to other properties. not sure about second... maybe if I find it on sale one day...

The Broly double feature BD transfer looked pretty lame. Lets just wait until the Trunks/Bardock BD releases to see the pq.

Well Since the first double feature had an English Dts-MA track 5.1(at over 2.5 Mb), this dolbytrue doesn't impress me much.

Don't expect miracles with it. It's reflective of the source which is grainy. My review's not due till next Monday. The audio is quite good for the English track though.

The Japanese is mono at 640kbps.
