If I can’t be what I was, I don’t want to play at all.

I may have to retire.

...either that or go through a Rocky-style Mario Brothers training camp.

You know the NES Motto:

B*tches b*tch, and players play."

*hands him the controller and walks out of the room*

Are you using game mode? Punch Out is very difficult to beat on modern TVs unless you use game mode. For Tyson/Dream, you pretty much have to guess when he's going to uppercut, because you've probably been hit by the time you see the cue.

Not as critical as Punch Out, but that's another game that's artificially difficult unless you use game mode. Annoyingly, the sound will be delayed. But your jumps will be much better timed.

As for the cord length issues, I solved it by using an extension cord for the power cable. I want the system close to me anyway so I can hit the reset button without getting up.

How many of you who bought this are younger than 30?

Are millennials into classic Nintendo?

...or just old men like me?

I'm 29 and bought one. I got the SNES Classic first though, as the NES Classic was very hard to find until just a few months ago here.

How old are you, Ray?

To answer your question, I'm definitely too old to be a "millennial."

Anyone have one of these wireless controllers?

How effective are they?

Any glitches or issues with positioning in relation to the box?

...are they durable?

I don't think it's terrible, I think people are just bothered by the game lineup and the lack of an AC adapter.

I haven't played a huge ton, to be honest, but I had no problem with my controller. It takes a minute to set up because you have to do some weird thing first (I can't remember what), but after that, it's fine.
