Feeling good now about never buying the problematic second release of this bad boy on blu.

Both cuts? Restored original mono? New transfer (that hopefully gets it right)?

Along with Streets of Fire and Trespass, this is already shaping up to be a great year for some of my favorite action catalog releases.

Almost forgot; If Fox is licensing a title as popular as this to Kino, how about letting them take a crack at Speed, Predator and Die Hard?

I am frustrated that I will have to triple dip but this is pretty great news. Hopefully Kino can release a properly framed and remastered Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More!

They're including subs on all their releases now, so this will certainly have them.

Sod the subtitles, if we get the original mono tracks remastered and encoded in lossless then that's me set.

Will they be doing any colour correction, I wonder?

I'm still worried about the transfer. The yellow MGM transfer was from a 4K scan, right? I doubt they'd do another 4K remaster so soon after the previous one. Hopefully, Kino has access to the original scan pre-color grading, or they're able to at least reverse some of the damage.
