Definitely looking forward to the prospect of Night of the Hunted on BD.

Ditto Grapes of Death and The Living Dead Girl.

Not Rollin, but my copies of Killer's Moon and Virgin Witch shipped today.

Amazon Pre-orders are up for these releases for those interested. I hope they drop down to what the first 5 Titles did.. but 20.99 seems a little steep.

Give us some impressions. Also do these have the numbered spines 6 & 7 on them?

dvdvbeaver.com lists Lips of Blood, The Iron Rose and The Nude Vampire as region free. I think its safe to say all the Rollin films are Region free. However Redemption may have a different contract for Killer's Moon and Virgin Witch so those may be region locked.

The first five Rollin releases are indeed region free.

Will do

I think they will be numbered, as Redemption's previous DVD releases were.

Kino needs to spend some more money on print-flaw removal. The blurays have good color and detail, but they would be perfect if they took that extra step every other company does. I'm still supporting these releases though, just because it at least gets 2k masters out there and the previous Redemption releases weren't even anamorphic and didn't have the English audio.

These are very niche titles that aren't even being stocked at most stores. I can forgive a little print damage. It's kind of a miracle titles like The Iron Rose got a BD release at all, and all things considered, they look good.

So if one wanted to start out with just one Jean Rollin vampire film on BD, what would be the best option?

Out of the films released so far I'd recommend Fascination for a beginner to start off with.

Really? I think Fascination is the most straightforward of the first wave releases.

I'll second Fascination being a good place to start with regards to these titles - it has the most linear narrative, imo.

Of the five released so far, The Iron Rose is my favourite.

I completely agree on both these points This was my first time seeing The Iron Rose, and it immediately became my favorite.

I prefer the Nude Vampire... it is the most odd IMO and that is why I wanted to buy the films myself. Fascination kind of left me bored.. yet I still liked it... I appreciate the visuals more so... and IRON ROSE I liked a lot also.

For those wanting to know, both Killer's Moon and Virgin Witch are region free ...and yes, the spines are numbered.

Thought I'd ask here... would you guys recommend these two titles? I haven't seen them and don't know too much about them.
