Hopefully, if they get it, they will fix the awful revisionist color grading, but they would probably just use the existing 4K remaster.

Since it appears Arrow's new site (I swear I've seen OOP titles on their old site) doesn't list OOP titles, is there anywhere keeping track so people can seek out OOP editions/titles if they so wish?

I was actually wrong about the Vincent and Theo from Oliver Films.

Vincent and Theo was "something of a love child of TV and the movies"; conceived as a television miniseries, Altman secured a deal in which he would simultaneously make a version for theatrical release.

I believe the Olive release licensed from MGM is the 2 hour film version. What Arrow has made available is the extended television cut which is in 4 parts with episodes running 50 minutes each.

If I understand it correctly, the "miniseries" version was shown on BBC TV, the theatrical version was for the US. Is it streaming in HD? I was going to import the R2 DVD release to get the TV version, but if it's been converted to HD, somebody will release it sooner or later. (Hopefully, they would include the bonus features that were on the DVD but not licensed to Olive.)

If you got to this page on this site, scroll down to "Arrow" for a complete listing of Arrow titles. If you want just Arrow US titles, set the flag in the "Search" box at the top of the page to "United States"; if you want just Arrow UK titles, set the flag for "United Kingdom"; if you want both, set it for "All countries". It won't necessarily tell you what's OOP and what's not, but you can make a list of which titles you're interested in, and cross-check them against what's on Arrow' site.

Nice to see the postcards making a comeback, there were ones in Scalpel, Cat O’ Nine Tails, and Basket Case.

There's a thread keeping track of OOP blu-rays organized by the company/label who released them:

BDs That Are Out of Print (OOP) https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=257543

Arrow UK/US releases that are OOP are listed there. Feel free to add OOP titles that you don't see listed to help keep the list up to date.

Some titles are limited and will not be re-released (Stray Cat Rock collection, Nikkatsu Diamond Guys vols. 1 and 2, Outlaw Gangster VIP, Early Suzuki vols. 1 and 2, Massacre Gun, Retaliation) but most of their limited releases will come back into print either as standalone releases (the Romero boxset, the various gialli duo sets) or stripped down sets that lose bonus discs (Blood Rage, CHUD) or lose slipbox and posters and other printed material (Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Cat o'Nine Tails.)

All Arrow releases eventually will lose their booklets, as they only do those for the first pressing.

Yes in the case of the Japanese titles that won't be reissued, Arrow has released them streaming only either for purchase on iTunes or available on their Amazon channel along with the exclusive title on their Detective Beureau 2-3. It seems Arrow is really pushing digital

Given the treatment of Detective Bureau 2-3, Marc Walkow saying that Arrow has cut back on the extras budget for Japanese titles, and the first volume of Early Suzuki having its number cut from 3000 to 1500 in both the UK and US, I think Arrow might be done acquiring the rarer Japanese titles.

Hope I'm wrong, but of the unreleased titles that they still have licensed, a few of the higher profile titles will get released as limited editions (the Sister Streetfighter movies,) but I think the rest will get the Detective Bureau 2-3 treatment.

just to follow up, I received the replacement order today. They must have overnight expressed it because the shipping date was yesterday on the packing slip! (although the replacement order process was initiated last week)

So although the initial shipment appears to be lost (now almost 7 weeks since it was shipped) I will give credit to Arrow for making things right.

This week's a pretty heavy week for me in Arrow Video land.

Basket Case, Cat O'Nine Tails and possibly even Scalpel all showing up in the same week.

Does it suppose to be wrapped in plastic? Can't remember if other Arrow slip ones where or not?

Weird. I just received my copy from diabolik and was wrapped in plastic bubble wrap. Thought they always did that. But anywho, can't wait to watch this later tonight. It's been a while since I've seen this. This gonna look nice right next to Brain Damage.

I have the UK version of Brain Damage, so having that with the 18 rating logo and this not having a rating logo is going to be a teensy bit awkward (there was a period of time I exclusive pre-ordered dual region Arrow Video releases though Zavvi, which I don't do anymore).

Most if not all of the previous Arrow releases with slips had them under the plastic. I received my copy of Basket Case from Diabolik today, and it also had the slip outside the plastic.
