2.35:1 vs. 2.39:1 vs 2.40:1
Splitting hairs here, but I was wondering if any of you can tell the difference in theaters or on home flatscreens the difference between 2.35:1 vs. 2.39:1 vs 2.40:1?
Which one creates more of a widescreen and creates larger bars at the top and bottom of the screen? I'm curious, because I recently saw Rambo 3 and I was impressed with the widescreen format, it looked "epic." Do any of you know the specifics in which camera was used and the lens setup for that film? Here at blu-ray.com it says that Rambo 3 is... Aspect ratio: 2.35:1 Original aspect ratio: 2.39:1 |
