Default Since Fox now owns the "Halo" Movie Rights....

Seeing as how Fox owns the rights to the Halo movie franchise, the Halo movie is going to be on Blu-Ray in the future. There is some footage on this site that is shot by director Neil Bloomkamp and produced by Peter Jackson to promote the new Halo 3 game but this will give you an idea of how the movie may look. Click on the links to be directed to the higher resolution versions of the short after you go through the age verification:

This site is a pretty good site that keeps up with current news about the movie if anyone is interested. I know it's an xbox game and they are controlled by the dark side but you have to admit that Halo 3 is going to be a sexy game.

What do you guys think about this movie being made. I can't wait to see it in theatres and on Blu!!!

It's going to be a good game, I enjoyed the beta, but I've yet to see a good movie based off a videogame, so I guess only time will tell.

never could get into halo or understood how it got so big it seemed like any other fps to me. Jackson's involvement will hopefully mean a decent flick although if it's over 2 hrs and 40 mins it's gonna be a rental for me. knowing jackson it'll be about 7 or 8 hrs.

hopefully fox does a good a job with the movie. watching the video from the link provided made me think, that the movie will be a definite hit, because of college dropouts alone.

Halo the movie on blu-ray exclusively - how much will that suck for MS!!!

Halo gamers won't be able to watch the HD version of the movie of their favourite game. It's hilarious. This is the very definition of irony!!

Though on a serious note, it is a prime example of how stupid this format war is.
