USA Next US SteelBook?

So recently I purchased Scarface which happens to be my first and only steelbook. Any news on any more US steelbooks in the works? I know the international market is big but I'm specifically interested in US versions, thx

Not confirmed but going by the fact that Future Shop Canada and Best Buy USA always share the same Steelbook release or Iron Pack release and the Canada Fast Five is G1, it is safe to assume it will be G1 in the States. Only time there was a unique SB to BB, Hurt Locker, it was still G1.

They don't always share the same release, but yes it is a safe bet they could be the same.

I really hope this is true. It'd be a shame if they only did part 1.

Not a Steelbook, it is called a "Metal Box". New packaging type. There are officially three types. Steelbook like Wall-E, Iron packs like Toy Story 3 and Metal Box like Lion King. It is strange that only Disney has released each wave of Disney movies in a new packaging material.

Good place to start:

Fixed that for you. Just wanted to let you know that it's not a SteelBook (not sure if anyone has told you or not ). Oh, and supposedly, Best Buy is going to get a few other Disney Metal Boxes as pre-orders: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Cars 2.

I want to say since WalMart has done 2 Columbia Steekbook releases (Resident Evil: Afterlife and Battle: Los Angeles) I am hoping they do a release for Smurfs. I know it sounds really lame but think abou it. Biggest chain doing a summer blockbuster (Family Oriented) I want to say its almost a given. Please prove me right Wal-Mart!!!

They had the other 4 Resident Evils as well and I'm pretty sure they also had Boondock Saints 2. Probably 2-3 others I'm missing.

Boondock Saints 2 was a DVD Steelbook. USA put out a pretty good number of DVD steelbook releases (G1) in the past. I still have my Appleseed DVD steelbook with toy figure unopened.

With Green Lantern released, I guess it's time to figure out what's next.

It would be a travesty if every country but ours gets a Captain America Steelbook. Lets hope that one is next.

That would be nice! I was hoping BB would surprise us once again, but they have the exclusive slip, so I don't expect them to get a steelbook as well.
