Including shipping?

47$USD for The Dark Knight Rises from Nova. Right around $43USD for Frozen out of Germany but that's because the VAT.

I've been eyeing some Blufans Marvel, Batman Begins and TDK out of Asia but I don't think I'm ready to start investing >$100 for a steelbook yet.

Just spent the most I've ever spent. Picked up both iron man kimchi releases. $65, and $80. I know they are new releases. But I wasn't able to get in on time. I really want to get the hmv thor. But I just can't justify it.

Most I've ever spent on a steel would be the BF Iron Man and Kimchi fullslip Her. So far they have been the only single ones to get into the $60 range.

Most i've paid to date is for the Blufans Iron Man Lenti

Otherwise, Drive HMV Exclusive Ł35, Thor Zavvi Exclusive Ł28, The Conjuring Zavvi Ł26, V for Vendetta Ł29, Captain America The Winter Soldier Ł28 ...

I try and keep it below Ł30 if I can.

But there is only one film I would be willing to pay upto Ł100 and that's Interstellar. It needs to be the ultimate version available ...

Act of Valor has been dethroned. Spent $80 on Blufans Kung Fu Panda from a seller on eBay. I did sell the 3D disc from it along with my previous 2D amaray for $20.00.

Well on January 18th the most I had spent was $47 USD... Things have gone up a little since then.

Iron Man 1/4 Slip KimchiDVD $66
Her Full Slip Novamedia $58
Guardians of the Galaxy Full Slip Novamedia $89
Guardians of the Galaxy Lenti A $69
Captain America 2 Full Slip Novamedia $79
Captain America 1 1/4 Slip Blufans $60
Captain America 2 1/4 Slip Blufans $60
Iron Man Lenti V2 + V1 case $70

So needless to say I've learned to never pass up on a preorder again, luckily my better half doesn't pay any attention to my movies.

Not sure on an exact amount, probably around $75 for one of the blue fans releases. I try not to over spend on the steelbooks, and very rarely do I have to resort to ebay and the like to get something.

Not sure I want to participate in this thread either...

Worst I've done so far is $65 + shipping for Blufans Iron Man. Missed out on the GB. I feel most preorders for the Korean steels run ~$50 so that seems to be my average.

I will pay silly amounts of money for a Blufans Thor. Missed the GB for that too.

Well it was $60 shipped to us so $5 on top of that with shipping is pretty awesome.

Most I've paid so far was $100 for HMV Thor about 18 months ago. At the time, I thought it was maybe too much. At this point, it's not a bad price. It is one of the nicest steelbooks (not including slips or other added extras) in my collection. Was very happy to have collected my Phase 1 set from the UK releases. Just Captain America that was from Poland but they all looked the same apart from the discs.

My worst hits were my Japanese Dark Knight steel (new) which I paid $120 and the Play.com Iron Man (New) which I paid $100. That's the extreme I've gone. This was early in my quest for steelbooks. My average for steelbooks that I buy on ebay or amazon is about $45 but I do not do this frequently. I try to get the "local" steelbooks on release day. I've yet to get any blufans exclusives or any korean releases.

I guess the next big money steelbook i will buy will be GB2 and I don't want to spend more than $60

Yeah I snagged it at an auction, those rarely go as high as the Buy It Nows. The Kimchi Iron Man has been giving it a run for it's money, at least where ebay is concerned. Competition is good for the market.

You are lucky to have an HMV Thor, that's the original grail. Thankfully while we both paid a lot to get these, I don't think we overpaid.

The most I have ever spent on a steelbook was between $20-$25, which are release day prices. I can never see myself spending anywhere near the prices that are mentioned in this thread. $30 and up are out of my price range.

I put myself at a limit of never spending more than $35 which I got Guardians of the Galaxy from the Best Buy restock for. Missed out on release day, and usually get all my steelbooks on release day or cheap auctions on eBay. Tonight I was able to get Thor Dark World brand new for $38 shipped off eBay. I guess that's my new limit. But I find it harder and harder to resist some of these kimchi or blufans releases.
