Is the Are You Afraid of the Dark? bundle really HDX? The other retail streamers (iTunes, Amazon, Google, Microsoft) only have it in SD.

I saw Don Juan DeMarco when it was originally released. I don't remember anything about it -- other than that I didn't care for it. Can't help you with Quicksilver.

A few suggestions:

White Heat MA (terrific film noir, with Cagney in one of his iconic roles. "Made it, Ma! Top o' the World!" )
The Merchant of Venice MA (one of my picks. With Pacino & an excellent cast. Not on Blu-ray.)
Let the Right One In (moving Swedish flick about a bullied boy and the vampire next door)
A Prayer Before Dawn (a blind buy pick for me. Young British boxer in a hellhole Thai prison. Good reviews. Sounds intense.)
Some Like It Rare (another blind buy. French horror comedy. Currently at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.)

I'd suggest Encino Man, but I assume you have it already.

Edit: Grosse Point Blank is good too. I'd get that if I didn't already have the Blu-ray.

I'm also curious about Quicksilver, but that's $2 D2D - just like...

Normally I'd agree - I was going to get it myself - but it's $2 D2D if you have the Blu-ray.

It’s pretty gross that they’re still listing a copy of Last of the Mohicans (1992), as the original theatrical version, it’s not. If you already own the dark, edited Director’s Definitive Cut, don’t get the “Theatrical” version, they’re hawking for $4.99.

I emailed them about this months ago, and was told that the studio gave them the copy, so it might be the correct version in the future. Very irritating.

No, the series is only SD (for both the bundle and seasons individually). The definition on top/bottom of page just shows the highest quality for playback, not what quality your able to buy. The bundle was never available to buy in HDX, but the individual seasons may have been either via Fnow or a vudu code (but not playable in HDX).

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU so much for posting about Pee Wee’s Playhouse. I’ve had it on my wishlist for what seems like forever. It’s gone on sale often recently but they’ve always wanted like $20 per season at a sale price (it used to have different prices for SD versus HDX). I looked a week or so ago and it was still around those prices; I didn’t even bother to look this past week. For $4.99 a season for HDX, i pounced. Thank you again!

Season 2 and 3 are combined, since season 3 only had 2 episodes and a Xmas special due to writers strike.
Sadly, the Xmas special is not included.
