Default Bi-amping for 1st time...

I'm going to bi amp two new Fluance XL8FW'S to a Pioneer SC-1222 AVR. Just looking for some beginner tips.

On the speaker posts, is the top set always highs and the bottom lows?

Does it matter what terminals they go to on the AVR. I would think the top set would go to the front L/R. On the bottom set, do they have to go to the Surround Back terminals? Or should/could they go to the Front Height channels/terminals?

The tweeters went to the surround back channels on my receiver when I had it bi-amped in the past. Mids went to the front channel. You will have to read the manual for the receiver, however. Also, make sure that the receiver configuration is set to Bi-Amp.
