Congrats on the New 25

Glad it worked out really good. Yeah a pair of used 30 would be awesome with them, Although they have had some upgrades to the tweeter and decoupling system since they were first released, there would not be some major differences.

Thanks! I am about 245 hours so far and settled in nicely. Really like what I am hearing as the tweeter has opened up. I am still waiting for the Lyngdorf to arrive so haven't watched a lot of movies, but have been living with The Wire and His Dark Materials as my viewing entertainment.

I have kicked around the 60is and 2 pair of 20is to switch out the main 7, but then think about a pair of 30is for the width and this is getting damn expensive. You never know though.

I think 30's up front and 20's for the rest would be perfect. 60's are overkill, especially since you have so many excellent subwoofers to fill in the low end punch with.

I don’t disagree….but I also do some 2 channel listening and that is where the 60s will distance themselves a bit I believe.

Hmmm ok yeah, 60's may have an advantage in music for the midrange with that dedicated mid driver.

You could do 60's for front L/R and then your main front 3 speakers will match, and you could just continue to keep and use the rest of your current setup. I think as long as the main front speakers matched across the front, it's not as important for the rest to be the same.

@gotmule
Yeah you could find the 2016-2019 version of the 60 on the used market that would save you some serious $$$ vs the new i series with the upgrades I mentioned, Esotar 2i tweeter, improved larger magnet on the driver on the 30i's ,improved mid-range driver on the 60i's improved x-over but all in all the speaker DNA did not changes vs the 2016-2019 version.
