Walmart Bins & Deals - Official List

The thread list doesn't state these are Instawatch, but just tested that they work: just found my old receipt from when I bought all three Lord of the Rings (theatrical) Blu-rays from the bin back in 2015. Only Fellowship had a code insert, so I've been without the other two in my Vudu library this entire time. Decided to scan the receipt with the Savings Catcher app and Wal-mart instantly sent me my digital codes.

As a side effect of Instawatch I got a $1.34 price match credit in other things on the same receipt. Hey, it's free money.

And if I use otherwise clunky Walmart Pay, I don't even have to scan the receipt.

Been scanning old receipts for Instawatch. I could kick myself for throwing others away, like some of the John Wayne movies, but here's what has yielded IW out of what I inexplicably kept. Some of these are from the bin, so I'm posting this here.

Yeah haha. I can't find my Never Ending Story II one and I know that it had IW. At least I think it did.

I couldn't find that receipt either, I don't think. I didn't really mind though. Having II without I in my UV locker would drive me nuts.

At the start of the year, I had a [junk]drawer full of receipts dating back to 2011 as I recall seeing a receipt for when I bought Thor when it first came out, lol. For some dumb reason, I decided to clean out the drawer and tossed everything. I'm so pissed off at myself for doing that now. This was before I embraced my digital library (which I just started redeeming back in March) and I didn't know much about Instawatch or care about the UV codes at all for that matter. So out went the receipts. I'm just friggin glad I didn't throw away the actual digital code papers too (I kept them all in a separate shoebox).

I have a shredder, so it's much easier to eliminate (some) regrets AND valuable price-reducing receipts.

I just keep all my receipts within the blu-ray case so I don't ever lose them. If you lose one of those, you lose all lol

I do the same thing. I upgraded a few movies from DVD to Blu and took the dvds in to trade in at a local book store. They got a kick out off my receipt for The Crow from 2000. I was around the corner and could here the three behind the counter....Red Baron pizza $6.95, soda $.99, beef jerky $8.99, Crow DVD $9.99, Pearl Jam $12.99... about that time I spoke up and told them that was some damn good beef jerky.

I was looking for the Disorderlies dvd in the $3.74 bin and didn't see a copy. But they did have a few lower radar (forgotten) animated movies from the 90s and early 00s like Once Upon a Forest, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, and The Road to El Dorado.

Same here. I've checked 3 different bins looking for Disorderlies and haven't had any luck.

You and me both.

But I did pick up the Storm of the Century (with 6 "bonus" movies). My bonus movies are different from the ones in the Blu-ray database and online. Echo Bridge has released seemingly a million different versions of this set. I wonder if there are variations of the set within the bin itself. I was curious about Triangle (Luke Perry), for example, but it's not on my set.

The one I have is from the Walmart $3.74 DVD bin. It comes with six "bonus" movies, but the "bonuses" on mine are different from the ones in the Blu-ray.com database and online. I wonder if there are variations on this set in the bin itself. I doubt it, but I didn't look too closely because the only movie I was actually interested in was Storm of the Century.

It's a 2-disc set.

Disc 1:

- Storm of the Century
- Final Spawn
- The Stray

Disc 2:

- Deadfall Trail
- The Fear Chamber
- Hindsight
- Watch Me

I have zero hope of any of the other movies being any good. I just hope the 266-minute Storm of the Century still looks and sounds decent despite being crammed on a disc with two other movies.
