Default 3-D 1080P Camcorder being released in 2010

A 3-D 1080P Camcorder is being released in 2010 for those that want to make videos in 3-D HD quality and then watch the videos on a 3-D 1080P display with special $100 glasses. Uses a memory card for storage. Cost is $21,000 for Camcorder.

Parallax looks pretty limited with that rig, for $21K. Must be somewhat restricted on what the optimal focal length would be, to enhance the 3D effect.

Closeup of someone's face is one thing; watching a car going around a racetrack is something different.

A better rig would use two cameras, mounted separately, and something to synchronize the images. But what do I know.

I'd guess yes...no doubt, this thing is perfect at focusing each lens to match the other, but you need to widen the space between lenses for get the depth right. I have no idea how that's done with this unit, but the lenses look fixed in place. Electronically, maybe, somehow?

Good question.

Do your eyes move farther apart when looking at a larger background?
